Graphite (3H, H, 4B, 6B) on Sketch Paper, 5.5 x 8.5 inches. This is mostly based off of a painting I found on Google, however, I couldn't seem to find the title and artist of the awesome orginial...My best guess would be someone similar to Constable, if not him. I made some changes, mainly in the sky and part of landscape. In the distance, I opened more up to a sea and places a ship headed outward, I suppose it's a symbol for exploring new things and finding meaning. I also changed the sky to add more emphasis on the light, had I colored it, or painted it, the sky was planned as if I would, leaving what I call a "tear" of light through the clouds during a sunset in this case. Anyway, it's mostly just me trying to practice how to set up landscapes, since I'm having trouble making up them the way I'd like to, but this seemed to help a lot, so I'll keep doing them.
Note: I'm sorry the image isn't clear due to think pencil lines, but it's a very small sized work and it's not meant to be enlarged, ha.
